Socrates

Socrates was a philosopher that had a brilliant mind, he was the one that create the art of discussing and he was a master of argumentation. Socrates thaught that wisdom shouldn't be charge, so he decided that he was going to teach without charging becuase he love knowledge. I think that Socrates was right because why people should pay for something that they love and is for everyone, but this do not matters now and never because people will always have to pay to have some kind of knowledge. Well socrates was born in athens and he always had a fight with the sophists therefor he was one of the firsts persons that uses philosophy. Socrates did not care about nature, he just wanted to learn abuot cities so he began to talk about societies and why they weren't perfect (because of their organization). He was the man that said that we are human because we are capable of reasoning, that we have to understand happiness and ethics so latter we can talk about it.
These are some of the things that Socrates said and the things he thaught, in my opinion Socrates is important because he represented something like a Jesus for those times, he created something new, so in conclusion Socrates is the one that left the thaught that everyone can think.

Naturalism

Naturalism is a movement that attemts to explain what nature really is or what nature is made of, in other words, it is a search for the ways of nature. This movement began because of the tales of Miletus, in the 18th century (at this time people wanted to explore or explain the univerce), so lots of people began to think and creat new theories about this topic. One example is Anaximandrus who created the Atomic theory that said the univerce is made of invisible pieces and all these pieces match, these peaces are the atoms:

a: primative alpha

tomos: divisions

These structures are not divisible. Coming back to what I was talking about, I think that to know what nature really is, we need to know about it's essence so then we can find out what it is.

In conclusion I have to say that naturalism is one of the most important movements in the history of philosophy because it is like the impulse that philosophers needed to began thinking farther than they could in those times. Therefor, philosophers started to write about what they thaught and today we can discuss it because philosophy is recyclable.
